Repairing computers and mobile devices requires the right tools for disassembly, diagnosis, component-level repair, and cleaning. Using improper tools can damage delicate electronics or create safety hazards.

1. Basic Hand Tools (Mechanical Disassembly)

🔧 Screwdriver Sets

The foundation of any repair kit. Different devices use different screw types.

Common Types:

• Phillips Head (#00, #0, #1)

• Flat Head (Slotted)

• Anti-static tweezers prevent ESD damage

🪛 Spudger / Pry Tool

• Safe for: Opening clips, disconnecting cables

2. Diagnostic and Repair Tools (Electrical & Component Work)

📟 Multimeter

Most important diagnostic device.

Functions:
